David, our Business Development Manager sat down with the team at GBC Time to discuss the creation and evolution of St8, the challenges we overcome daily and what makes us stand out.
Read the interview below:
St8 was born from a simple but critical insight: operators needed a more flexible, efficient and scalable way to access premium gaming content without the complexity of multiple integrations and fragmented platforms. Many existing solutions are rigid, siloed or slow to bring new content to market, creating operational bottlenecks and limiting the player experience.
Our goal was to simplify and unify the process. Through a single API integration, we allow operators to connect to hundreds of game providers, offering players a diverse and engaging portfolio, while reducing complexity for operators.
What sets St8 apart is that we are not a traditional casino games aggregator. We don’t just aggregate content; we provide compliant, secure and scalable full-service technology that supports operators across the entire ecosystem, including content integration, compliance, bonusing, reporting and promotions. This enables partners to launch faster, expand globally and continuously deliver fresh, player-focused experiences without additional operational burden.
Bridging operators and game studios comes with unique challenges. Each party has different timelines, operational processes and technical requirements. Operators want reliable, engaging content delivered quickly, while game providers aim for broad distribution and strong market impact. Aligning these priorities requires careful orchestration.
At St8, we address this by listening carefully to both sides and creating solutions that benefit everyone. We offer a full suite of tools to promote games effectively, including attractive thumbnails, bonus and jackpot support, and all the resources needed to present content in the best possible way to players. We also provide clear reporting, transparent invoicing, compliance support and direct technical assistance.
To sum it up, transparency, clear communication and flexibility are key. While we never favour one side over the other, our primary focus is on delivering a seamless, engaging gaming experience for players, which ultimately maximises value for operators, providers and the entire ecosystem.
Operators who work with multiple providers often face significant challenges. Every provider has its own integration requirements, technical processes, reporting formats and compliance rules. This can slow time to market and make day-to-day operations cumbersome. For example, implementing the same bonus across several providers might require logging into multiple separate systems, each with its own rules and reporting formats. Coordinating updates, launching new content, or running promotions across different platforms can be tricky and mistakes can lead to downtime or inconsistent player experiences.
Another common pain point is visibility and control. Without a unified system, it’s difficult for operators to track performance, manage bonuses or jackpots and present content consistently. Streamlining these technical and operational requirements isn’t just convenient; it’s essential. Without it, operators can get stuck managing processes instead of focusing on their players.
For a new operator, “simple integration” means they can connect to hundreds of game providers through a single, unified source (API) instead of juggling multiple separate integrations.
From day one, this significantly reduces complexity, saves time and minimises technical headaches. In practice, this includes quick onboarding, where operators get up and running faster without having to configure each provider individually; streamlined operations, allowing tasks like bonus creation, jackpot setup or content updates to be handled from one central system, even across multiple providers; full technical and operational support, with our team guiding operators through setup and ensuring smooth operation across all integrated providers; and compliance and reporting built in, so operators can trust that licenses, regulatory requirements and reporting obligations are fully supported without extra work.
Put simply, we handle the complex behind-the-scenes work so operators can focus on their players.
We are constantly improving the platform to make the gaming experience more engaging, efficient and player focused. One of the most tangible innovations is the unified promotions system, which allows providers to launch and track campaigns directly from the supplier back office for operators. On top of that, we’ve introduced automated notifications for maintenance and reporting and enhanced our Thumbnails API with more static and animated variations, including provider logos. We’ve also made smaller improvements such as fixing game error pages and adding team management options in the back office. All these updates are part of our ongoing commitment to efficiency, flexibility and player engagement.
TARS stands for Testing API Rapidly with St8. Testing and ensuring integrations are implemented correctly can be time-consuming and delicate, so we created TARS to simplify this process. It supports developers throughout the integration journey by streamlining key steps such as endpoint testing, response validation and automation. TARS allows teams to verify and manage integrations efficiently and independently, reducing escalations and support requests. This enables developers to focus on building rather than troubleshooting.
Our Bonus API transforms player retention by making it flexible, dynamic and tailored to individual player behavior. It supports multiple bonus types, including cash rewards, free spins and feature triggers across multiple providers. Operators can manage all bonus mechanics through a single, unified integration. By embedding bonus logic directly into their systems, operators can trigger incentives at the right time based on real-time player activity. This enables more personalised retention strategies, faster experimentation and greater operational efficiency. In short, thanks to our Bonus API otherwise static promotions turn into a powerful, configurable tool for driving engagement and long-term loyalty.
Aggregators have a unique advantage because we see the bigger picture.
While operators and providers each work with their own data, aggregators sit in the middle of it all connecting multiple providers and multiple operators. This gives us a much wider view of what’s actually working across a specific market or product.
We can spot trends that others might miss, like which game features are resonating with players, how different bonus types perform across brands or what’s driving engagement in different regions.
Because we look across so many data points, we can turn these insights into practical recommendations and help partners make better decisions, optimise performance, and stay ahead of player expectations.
Real-time reporting helps operators stay in the moment and remain relevant to their players.
Instead of waiting for reports, they can instantly see what players are enjoying, which games are gaining traction and where engagement might be dropping. That kind of visibility makes it much easier to react quickly and keep the offering aligned with player expectations.
For example, if a game is performing well, they can promote it more. If something isn’t working, they can adjust or replace it right away without losing time or momentum.
When it comes to managing their game portfolio, operators use real-time data to continuously refine their mix. They can test new games, explore different providers and immediately see what resonates.
It becomes an ongoing process of adapting in real time, helping operators stay agile, competitive and always relevant.
I would say there is an evolution already in progress. The role of a casino games aggregator is shifting from simply delivering content to becoming a strategic technical partner for operators. Aggregators are now providing intelligence, automation and actionable insights, helping operators optimise portfolios, respond quickly to player behavior and deliver personalised experiences. They’re enabling faster innovation, seamless multi-provider management and supporting compliance, moving far beyond basic game delivery.
At St8, we are actively embracing this shift. Our platform is built and continuously enhanced to deliver flexibility, intelligence and operational efficiency, empowering operators to grow, innovate and stay ahead in our rapidly evolving industry.
